Fiona vrs Finn

13 Jan

Okay I’m sorry guys but I HATE Fiona (the girl version of Finn from Adventure time). In WHAT sexist work does a 12 year old girl have hips and boobs like that (Finn doesn’t have football player shoulder or a beard)? Also shes super meek and helpless, where as Finn is a bad ass and wants Adventure! Princess Bubble gum is like 14 or something and Marcelline is like a couple hundred years old and they don’t look like a fertility goddess so whats the deal? The only thing I can think of is what Sky suggest, Fiona is the Ice Kings made up vision so thats what he wants, but still it angers me a lot. It just upsets me that a little boy can be kick ass and strong but a girl can’t even be a girl (she has to be a women) let alone kick ass…

I also understand that puberty, for girls, can hit young but, COME ON she is obviously sexualized! If it was just being very valuptiouse I wouldn’t mind so much, but that and the Black Swan flavor of meekness drives me crazy. All right I’ll calm down, its just one episode of a kids cartoon after all hahaha.

Wait I was wrong. I guess she isn’t the only one, what about LSP?? LSP is pretty darn sexualised! Shes super ‘curvy’ and always talking about how sexy she is. “I want a sexy swim suit body. I guess I’m pretty sexy already.” trollolol

“Actually, your opinion isn’t far off from that of the creators’. The point of the episode, ending with the Ice King having written Fionna’s story as a fanfiction, is a direct parody of some of the creepy weirdo fans that sexualize these cha…racters for no reason. Basically, the whole episode is telling those who write or draw sexualized versions of Adventure Time characters “Don’t be a creeper like the Ice King, don’t do this.”"

-Rachel L (quote from my facebook rant haha)

Obviously my opinion is just one girls thoughts. If you have a different opinion I really would like to hear why you feel that way! :)

She always knows how I feel… (taken from here)
